Estate Planning
Having the necessary legal documents to protect your assets is an important part of your overall financial plan. It also makes transitions easier for your spouse and your family should you become ill or pass away. We will review your estate planning documents (such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.) and make sure they are up-to-date. If you have a trust, we will make sure the appropriate assets have been re-titled and funded to the trust
If you need to update or create these documents, we will be happy to work with your estate planning attorney to get this completed. Or, if needed, we can recommend professionals who can assist you.
Perhaps most important, we stand ready to assist your family at any time should you become sick or disabled, and we can guide family members through any period of transition. There is no additional charge for any of the above services. It is included in your annual financial planning fee.
